Hey fellow VR Golfers!
I wanted to write this little recap of my year 2023 in the VR Golf space. Personally, I've been hooked on VR Golf since 2019, playing over 800 hours of VR Golf, most of it in the last two years when I found it helped my real-world golf game. Inspired by the positive impact, I decided to embark on a self-experiment to see how good of a golfer I could become practicing only VR Golf.
So, feeling excited about VR Golf, I decided to motivate more golfers to try out this amazing technology. I spent the first part of 2023 working hard on social media, building a website, and making videos to show people what is possible in VR Golf. Finally, I launched my YouTube channel in July 2023 and started live VR Golf streams in August.

The Golf League is coming ?
Before promoting my channels, I also wanted to start my own VR Golf League at LIVRgolf.com. Turns out, it's a lot more work than I bargained for – from making the website to coding tweaks for the game. Still, I was aiming to be ready before the TGL Golf Sim League in January 2024. But guess what? They decided to postpone it to early 2025, which actually gave me a bit of a breather. On the other side, it's bad news because this was huge for indoor golf.
Meanwhile, life threw me another challenge – moving to a new place. Had to set up a whole new greenscreen room for videos and streams. It's still a work in progress, but I'm getting there.

New videos are coming soon!
As we dive into 2024, my focus is on making it a big year for VR Golf. I'm working hard to get my projects ready because they'll shape how people see VR Golf. Videos are on hold till my new setup is complete, but I'm active in the Discord community, answering questions, and playing VR Golf with you guys.
Here's to a kick-ass 2024 for VR Golf lovers! Catch you in the Discord server, and stay tuned for the fun stuff coming up.
Cheers, Rob
